NAGO (New Arrivals Gothenburg)   FRANCE

One of Fresh Fish's objectives, in addition to displaying Swedish designers, is also to discover international newcomers in the fashion industry. The international part of Fresh Fish is called NAGO, New Arrivals Gothenburg. NAGO will transform Fresh Fish into an international meeting place, where people from different fashion and design cultures will get a chance to exchange ideas and be inspired by each other.

The NAGO collaboration of 2012 will be with Ecole Parsons à Paris, a division of Paris College of Art, that has a long tradition in the arts. Established in 1921 by Frank Alvah Parsons, Ecole Parsons à Paris continues to promote the artistic and intellectual maturation of promising students into exceptional professional artists, designers and design managers through a rigorous art, design and liberal arts education. This rigor has been the foundation for some of fashion’s finest designers such as Tom Ford, Lazaro Hernandez (Proenza Schuler) and Patrick Robinson (Gap). Ecole Parsons à Paris is proud to present Mathilde Jansson, Yelim Hong and Hadley Johnson at the Gothenburg Fashion Fair.
